PRO’S
McIntosh has a big frame. He has explosive power through the hole. McIntosh is shiftier than I expected given his size. He does a good job of getting small and getting the angle on the defender at the last second to avoid him. McIntosh was used out of the backfield as a receiving option and also lined up wide. He does an excellent job of tracking the ball in flight and adjusting to balls thrown outside of his window. He runs with good vision and patience which showed up with two nice jump cuts on back-to-back plays Vs. Oregon 2022, 1st Quarter.
CON’S
At times, McIntosh seems content to take what he can get when upfield rather than slow down and find extra yardage. I would like to see him win more physically 1-on-1 with DBs in the open field. I know he can be a game breaker but I also need to see he can be a grinder.
OVERALL
McIntosh is a big north/south runner capable of hitting full speed at the drop of a dime. He comes with plenty of experience as a receiving option due to how often Georgia lined him up wide. NFL GMs are going to like that McIntosh has limited tread on his tires due to the stable of backs Georgia utilized during his time on campus. McIntosh has 3-down back potential, he can get tough yards, he protects the QB and receives out of the backfield.
