PRO’S

At an estimated 5’10”, 212 Lbs, Parker Washington is built like a running back. He pairs his build with a strong/physical presence as a ball carrier after the catch. Natural hands catcher, I enjoy watching the way in which he tracks the ball from flight to catch point. Plays with balance and control, does not always move at the same speed or pace which he uses to put defensive backs in difficult situations.

CON’S

Lacks burst out of his breaks which leads to a lack of separation if DB is sitting on route. With the way he plays the game coming in below 5’10” will be a big disappointment, and while he has the mindset of a big, physical possession wide receiver he lacks ideal size.

OVERALL

Smooth wide receiver with great hands and strong ball tracking ability but lacks the ability to create significant separation regularly. Where he’s at his best is with the ball in his hands. He’s a load to bring down and runs aggressively while navigating north as quickly as possible. In the film I watched, you could tell defenses were paying a lot of attention to him and that could be a big part of why he rarely had a lot of space to work with when running routes. Washington was a tough study for me, I need to see where he ranks with the other receivers in this class in the pro agility drill and 3 cone drill at the combine.
