Bye Week Bangers – Week 9

S. Gardener (DB), New York Jets – (10% ownership in Yahoo)

This rookie is a must own, not only in dynasty but also redraft leagues. Last week he had 3 solo tackles. Two weeks ago, Sauce got you 8 solo tackles. Combined with 2 tackles for loss and 2 pass breakups the previous week. The Sauce is flowing. This week’s matchup against the Buffalo Bills, who throw the ball a ton, the rookie, once again, will have plenty of opportunities to be near the ball..

Willie Gay Jr (LB),Kansas City Chiefs – (2% ownership in Yahoo)

Returning from a 4 game suspension, Willie is chomping at the bit to make plays. The game before the suspension, Gay tailed 11 total tackles, 2 tackles for loss, and 2 pass breakups. Fast forward to last week, 8 total tackles and 1/2 sack with only 57% snaps compared to the 92% he had before his suspension. The Chiefs are easing him back into the lineup. “Big Willie” style back means great opportunity for tackles along with tackles for loss vs the Tennessee Titans this week. You need guys to penetrate the line of scrimmage to stop the king!

Grover Stewart (DL), Indianapolis Colts – (9% ownership in Yahoo)

Grover is averaging 4 solo tackles and 1 tackle for loss 2 of last 3 weeks. Add a sack three weeks ago and a pass breakup last week. All that said, Stewart gives you 18 fantasy points the last three weeks. Prime matchup against the Patriots will give you a good floor of points to get you through the bye week.

C.J. Gardener-Johnson (DB), Philadelphia Eagles – (10% ownership in Yahoo)

C.J. has definitely come into his zone. From week 5 to week 8, C.J. is averaging 7 total tackles, 1 tackle for lost, 1 pass breakup, and an interception. Johnson possesses a great tackle floor with big play ability. Just in time to fill in for your top DBs. Great matchup against the Houston Texans this week to feel good about the floor with a chance to help win you the week.
