Bye Week Bangers – Week 8

Jeffery Simmons, (DL), Tennessee Titans – (13% ownership in Yahoo)

In his last two outings, Simmons has scored over twenty fantasy points. In that time span, Jeffrey is averaging three solo tackles and one sack. Simmons has shown he is a beast and he’s ready to play another run heavy team which should mean there will be plenty of opportunities for him to get you plenty of points.

Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah(JOK), (LB), Cleveland Browns – (11% ownership in Yahoo)

This week, Deion Jones will likely be the name you hear talked about amongst IDP content creators but I’m telling you, JOK is the guy that you’re going to want to grab. In the past, any linebacker that has lined up next to Deion Jones has succeeded and they’ve moved on to another team. For instance, look at De’vondre Campbell, he produced greatly next to Mr. Jones and has since balled out for the Packers. I’m not saying JOK is going to be a top tier guy all season long but for a bye week fill-in, he’s going to get you a few tackles and maybe even a few tackles for loss.

Ryan Neal, (DB), Seattle Seahawks – (7% ownership in Yahoo)

After Jamal Adams went down with yet another injury, Ryan Neal has stepped in and has produced at a high level. If Neal keeps it up, he’s going to make Seattle think twice about retaining Jamal Adams moving forward. Ryan Neal has scored over 25 fantasy points in each of the last two weeks and he averaged six solo tackles and a pass defended in those games. Neal is all over the ball. Ryan Neal is definitely a guy I want on my fantasy teams for this bye week and throughout the remainder of the season.

Cameron Dantzler, (DB), Minnesota Vikings – (6% ownership in Yahoo)

If you play in a league in which you need to start cornerbacks, this is your guy. Last week was a down week for Dantzler as far as production goes but the two weeks prior he totaled at least five solo tackles. This week, the Vikings will be going against the Cardinals who throw the ball a ton and Cameron will definitely have opportunities for tackles, pass deflections and maybe even an INT. Dantlzer is a guy who’s already had his bye week and you’ll be able to ride with him for the rest of the season.

Jaylin Hawkins, (DB), Atlanta Falcons – (1.5% ownership in Yahoo)

I’ve been all over Talanoa Hufanga, AKA “Big Hufanga” aka “Huf” and now i’m all over Jaylin Hawkins, AKA “The Hawk”. Jaylinn Hawkins is a must have on your roster, not only as a bye week replacement but as a starter for the remainder of the season. Over the last three weeks, Hawkins has scored 18+ points. In two of those games he had seven solo tackles and in the third game he had four total tackles and an interception. Hawkins is out this week with an injury that he should bounce back from rather quickly. Pending the platform you play on, you can add him to your IR so that he does not cost you a roster spot…I literally just did this TODAY! Like I always say, always look one week ahead and be on the up and up!
