DUDES & DUDS – Week 7

Dudes

QB – Dak Prescott Vs. Detroit Lions

The Detroit Lions are giving up the 2nd most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this season. The Cowboys run game has looked better and better over the last few weeks and that will benefit Dak and the passing attack going forward. I expect the Cowboys to score over 30 points this week and for Dak to be a big part of that.

QB – Matt Ryan @ Tennessee Titans

Matt Ryan is coming off of his best performance of the year, in week 6 he finished with a stat line of 42/58 for 389 yards and 3 touchdowns. This week, Ryan and the Colts will be up against a Titans team who are giving up the 4th most fantasy points to opposing QBs this season. Last time Ryan faced the Titans, he finished the week as QB11. Look for him to finish in the top 7 this week.

RB – Kenneth Walker @ LA Chargers

Back to back weeks for Walker on the dudes list! Last week he balled out and showed the world he is a true Fantasy Football RB1. This week he’ll face the Chargers, who’ve given up the most Fantasy points to running backs so far this season. This walker is walkin’ his way right into the hearts of the Fantasy Football community.

RB – Leonard Fournette @ Carolina Panthers

Tom Brady and the Buccaneers passing attack seems to be struggling but the ground game has been working for them. Fournette has been getting it done and Tom Brady will lean on him while they get everything else sorted out.

WR – Ceedee Lamb Vs. Detroit Lions

I told you to sit Lamb last week and I was correct. This week he’ll face a below average Lions secondary and he’ll have his QB1 back to get him the football. Look for Lamb to see plenty of targets in this one.

WR – Allen Lazard @ Washington Commanders

Lazard has found the end zone 4 times so far this season and, at this point, you can almost count on him to get in there weekly. The Packers have faced 2 top 10 passing defenses and the rest of the teams they faced were all top 15. The Commanders are ranked 28th against the pass and I think the Packers passing attack will light up the stat sheet this week.

TE – George Kittle Vs. Kansas City Chiefs

After going 8 for 83 on 10 targets in week 6, Kittle is starting to heat up. George knows that Travis Kelce is balling this year and I believe Kittle wants to show the world he’s every bit as good as Kelce. The Chiefs defense is the 20th ranked unit against Tight Ends this year and Kittle should have room to work.

Flex – Rondale Moore @ New Orleans Saints

Rondale has been on the receiving end of 18 targets over the last 2 weeks. That is only 1 less target over that time span than teammate Hollywood Brown. Brown left last week’s game with a foot injury and was later diagnosed with a non-surgical fracture. This should sideline him for about 6 weeks. Look for Moore to benefit.

Duds

QB – Patrick Mahomes @ San Fransisco 49ers

Mahomes and the Chiefs are coming off of a tough loss that will likely incur a bit of an emotional hangover. To make things worse, they have to follow it up with a match-up against the glass eating defensive unit of the San Francisco 49ers.

QB – Geno Smith @ LA Chargers

On Paper this looks like a decent match-up, but I believe some of the Geno Smith magic is starting to wear off. Geno went 20/31 for 197 yards in week 6 against a middle of the pack Cardinals defense. The Chargers secondary is starting to pull it together and I expect them to shut down the Seahawks passing attack.

RB – David Montgomery @ New England Patriots

The Patriots are giving up the 3rd fewest points to opposing running backs this season and are coming off of a week where they held Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt in check. This week, I’m fading Monty, I’m fading Herbert…I’m fading any back with an orange C on the side of their helmet.

RB – Breece Hall @ Denver Broncos

Breece is that dude, don’t get me wrong…he’s showing that the Jets invested in him wisely during the past NFL draft. That being said, this rookie is in for a rude awakening traveling to Mile High this coming week and trying to adjust to the altitude while facing one of the league’s toughest rushing defenses.

WR – Terry McLaurin @ Green Bay Packers

The Packers passing defense has been the best thing going for them so far this season. Jaire Alexander may be the best player on that Green Bay roster and he’ll be matched up with Terry this week. Wentz still stinks and McLaurin will struggle.

WR – Jaguars WRs Vs. New York Giants

I’m drinking the G-Men Kool-Aid right now. I don’t know how they’ve done it but this defense is doing a great job of shutting down the pass. Christian Kirk is 7/95 over the last 3 weeks and Trevor Lawrence has only topped 200 passing yards once in that time span. Look for the Jaguars receivers to continue to struggle vs. the G-Men.

TE – Travis Kelce @ San Fransisco 49ers

The 49ers are one of the best units in all of football at stopping the opposing tight end. The entire league knows that this Chiefs offense goes through Travis. The 49ers will make sure Mahomes has a hard time getting the ball to Kelce in this one.

Flex – Dameon Pierce Vs. Las Vegas Raiders

The Raiders are home, they are coming off a bye, and they are in desperate need of a win. That stadium is going to be absolutely electric as the fans do everything they can to get behind their beloved Raiders. The defense knows that Dameon Pierce is a big part of that offense and if they stop him, the Texans will struggle.
