PRO’S

Length and long speed for days, it’s nearly impossible to out throw Andrei. Ball tracking. Excels at running crossing routes, when given the ball with a full head of steam he is hard to catch and will also finish with physicality. Transitions well from his vertical release to his inward breaking routes (crosses/posts) without losing speed, trailing DBs are in no man’s land. Andrei was an absolute alpha in the Ivy League and didn’t shy away from it, Iosivas owned it and the production showed. Great block on short yardage/goal line down Vs. Harvard 2022 (4th QTRm 7:23), lined up close to LOS, bullies DB off the snap and drives him into the back of the end zone. Excellent hair.

CON’S

Ivy-League receiver, played well at the Senior Bowl but did not see him consistently winning outside of vertical routes. Big receiver with a big catch radius, though he is extremely athletic, I question his ability to box out bigger defenders and make body adjustments mid-flight to come down with those hard to get footballs. I saw Andrei do those things against Ivy league talent but not so much at the Senior Bowl when facing the top defenders in the country. Light lower half, affects his blocking ability and YAC ability.

OVERALL

Iosivas may be one of the best overall athletes in the 2023 draft class. I foresee Iosivas being a boom or bust wide receiver early on. I would like to see Andrei put a bit of muscle on that frame which will help him with those contested catches. I’d also like to see Andrei add the back-shoulder fade to his resume, this will pair very well with his vertical routes.
